2007 Contests

Through December 2007:

Maps2Memories -- Maps2Memories.com is a website that promotes independent scrapbooking stores nationwide. They have put together a super contest to reward you just for shopping your Local Scrapbook Store/Maps-2-Memories store (which Windy City Scrapbooking is!!). Here are the Contest Details:
1. Answer the weekly Mile Marker Quiz correctly and be entered to win Weekly Drawing OR            
2. Mail a receipt from a Maps-2-Memories store (you can find the Maps2Memories mailing address on their website) and be entered to win the Weekly Drawing OR do both! 
They have hundreds of $$$'s worth of new scrapbooking product they will be giving away. Every single week from now thru 12/31/07, they'll award 2 prizes, each valued at $25-40 (MSRP), from their  great sponsors. All you have to do to win is check their website every week and/or shop a Maps-2-Memories store (Windy City Scrapbooking counts!!!!). What could be easier?!?!? (Download details here)  

2006 Customer Contest

Although we are not yet ready to unveil the contest, we are going to let you know a little bit about it. In 2006, we are going to have a year long contest. It will be a combination of trivia and scrapbooking. There will be monthly contests with a prize given out each month ($20 store gift certificate) and one "grand prize" (minimum $100 value) at the end of the year (the more you enter on a monthly basis, the more chances you have for the grand prize). OK - we can't divulge too much more except that the contest will require a weekly email from us so we will need you to add your email to a separate list to receive those contest emails. So, are you thoroughly confused? We'll give you more info about this contest soon! Or, just take the plunge and sign up (via email info@windycityscrapbooking.com or by calling the store!)

Customer Layout Contest "Thankful" :
In keeping with the theme of the season, our November contest will be "thankful" -- bring in pages and projects that mean thankful to you. Customer voting begins on November 21st and ends on November 30th. There will be 2 winners -- first place wins a $20 WCS gift certificate and second place receives a $10 WCS gift certificate! October 2005

Customer Layout Contest "FALL" :
Bring in your layouts or other paper crafting projects by October 20th to be entered in one of 2 categories "Simple Scrapbooking" or "Extravagant Scrapbooking". Customer voting begins on October 21st and ends on October 30th. There will be 2 winners in each category - First place wins a $20 WCS gift certificate and second place receives a $10 WCS gift certificate! July 2004

July's contest is a "Book of Me" layout. Most scrappers spend their scrapbook time scrapbooking about other people. Now it's time to scrapbook about yourself. Think of all you have to tell about yourself - likes, dislikes, one time at band camp…. Still not convinced? Come in and check out Angie Pedersen's books The Book of Me and Growing Up Me. We even have tip sheets full of ideas for you here at Windy City Scrapbooking. Come in and pick one up. Then Bring in your layout on the 16th, and show your page to Angie! (you can also have her sign your book here at the store!)

June 2004

The theme for the June contest is "Dad" -a scrapbook page, an altered book, a card -- any paper craft project will be accepted. All entries need to be submitted to the store in person or by email by Saturday, June 19th. Voting begins June 20th and ends June 31st.
