We are developing our classes to offer you new experiences in the world of scrapbooking. We will offer classes for the beginners needing a place to start to veterans looking for something new or deeper exploration. Please bring BASIC CLASS SUPPLIES (trimmer, scissors, adhesive, and a pen) to all classes (Except Scrapbook Basics and a few other classes as noted in the class descriptions). (Papers, embellishments, & designs are subject to change!) Doing Disney with AngelaIn this class we will complete a two-page layout featuring Disney themed pattern paper and stickers. The class will also discuss an organizing principle for scrapbooking an entire trip to Disney World. Class Level: All Levels Class Dates: Check back later this summer for new dates! MONTHLY CLUB CLASSES Acrylic Stamp Challenge with MelissaIn 2009 this class will be a monthly event where you can discover 3-4 new stamping techniques by making any combination of cards, layouts, or other projects. You can take this class each month and learn something different each time. Learn the skills to make the most of your acrylic (and wood mounted) stamps! Class Dates:

Create L.O.V.E. with AlraynitaWCS is proud to announce a series of monthly classes just for you. Each month you will learn something different, whether it be a tip, or technique and it will be incorporated into you creating 2 stunning 2 page layouts. From there, you will also learn how to create a few more things from your scraps, that will have you fall in LOVE with scrapbooking over and over again. This class is geared toward those looking to do more with their pages, who may be in a creative rut, or want to learn something new. Each month will be theme specific that will help you with getting that year long scrapbook in order. June: Father's Day July: Patriotic Class kits will be available with printed color instructions. (Papers and embellishments used in class will be different than in sample) Greeting Cards Workshop/Club with GraceCreate four greeting cards that will “Wow” your friends and family. You will learn techniques and tips used in card making, as well as, have fun using paper, stamps, ribbons, embellishments and some cool tools too! This workshop is a great way to try a new hobby and hopefully never have to buy another card again! Check the class dates below for the theme of each session -- you can attend as many as you would like to help round out your card stash! Continuing Education Stitchery with AngieUsing felt, patterned paper, cardstock and ribbon, this class will feature sewing machine stitching as a finishing touch for photos and embellishments. We will review how to use a sewing machine and also discuss hand stitching possibilities for your layouts! Looking for a great gift for that "hip" person on your gift giving list? Make a cool hip way of keeping your birthdays in order!! Come make a "Rolodex of Birthdays". We will transform a simple Rolodex into something to hold all of your family and friends' birthdays!!!! This is a project to utilize your scraps!! Please bring scraps to class with you! (Tools subject to change) Tools of the TradeWe will discuss and demonstrate many of the tools available for scrapbooking, and the effects they can help you create on your projects. This is a great way to get hands-on experience trying out different tools of the trade. If you have tools that you don’t know how to use, please bring them to class and we can show you how to get the most out of them. We will be able to complete a digital layout and get going on starting your adventure in digital scrapbooking. Must bring own laptop with Photoshop Elements or Photoshop CS3 to experience the class to the fullest capability. The Fine Print: Class & crop reservations are on a first come, first served basis and must be paid for upon reservation. Classes: Class and crop fees are not refundable. If you will be unable to attend a class, notice must be given a minimum of 72 hours before the class meets to receive a store credit or transfer to another date. Otherwise, you can ask for a class pack to be held for you at the front counter of the store after the class session. |
