I am working on a Disney vacation album right now; just started it last weekend. Everything about Disney is fun and playful so I am trying to "play" with my scrapbook too. I am trying new things, working outside of the standard page, and experimenting. So far I am really loving the results. Last week my Grandma turned 88. I thought about her all week long and decided to do a quick layout with some of the My Mind's Eye papers that we have in the "heritage" section of the store. The papers are all really muted, which work really well with the vintage photo from circa 1940. My one frustration is that I wanted to include a lot more journaling than I could fit onto the layout. My Mind's Eye MiniAlbum

As promised, I put together a quick mini-album from the My Mind's Eye packet I received a couple of weeks ago. It will more than likely take me longer to figure out how to upload the photos to this blog than it took me to create the mini album!

I cut some chipboard into 4x5 inch pieces, then cut the patterned paper to size, stitched a few, and used a glue stick and brayer to put the paper on the chipboard. I distressed the edges with the Bazzill file and some paint. IRead More...
